BOSTON — EnergyHawk, a market leader in estimating building energy consumption using geospatial data, announced today that it has finalized an agreement to support one of Australia’s leading energy retailers and generators in Commercial & Industrial facility analysis.
In an effort to automate and accelerate the adoption of their renewable & efficiency offerings, EnergyAustralia has selected the team at EnergyHawk to locate, aerially measure, and estimate the kilowatt hour consumption for energy-intensive facilities that span the country. This partnership marks the Boston software company’s first international customer, as the EnergyHawk team continues to run more facility analysis in climate progressive countries.
“We are currently analyzing C&I facilities in over 14 major countries in an effort to increase our international customer footprint. With powerful go to market data on highly qualified buildings and rooftops, distributed energy sales teams can acquire market share faster in an increasingly competitive market.”
Following their investment from Techstars last fall, the EnergyHawk team has secured a number of major DER customers and strategic data partnerships, fueling more accurate facility analysis and a more hopeful future for distributed energy adoption at scale.
